NIOS is a new process used to diagnose and treat the pain of the neuromuscular and skeletal systems. It is a form manual medicine that resolves pain and tissue dysfunction.

NIOS is safe and effective for most patients because there is no force utilized. It is a passive pain-free therapy.

The first appointment usually takes 60 min.  and involves an evaluation component. During this first assessment the clinician and patient get to know each other. A comprehensive health history is obtained and an orthopedic evaluation is conducted if warranted. This discussion is followed by a half hour of therapy.

Follow-up visit is usually usually 3-4 hr. in length.
